Our Newsletter this month provides an introduction to the new LED/TFT Four Stripes digital televisions and also covers the new SLIM version of the product.  In addition, we have included detail of the latest display in the D-Brain series - the 82"  and we can reveal the new Quadro Touch screen range with six different touch screen technologies now available. The New LED/LCD Four Stripes Digital Television
 

 
We are delighted to introduce the new LED/LCD Four Stripes digital televisions. Based on the stylish Italian design of the original Stripes range, we are initially introducing a 46" and a 55" version. This will be followed in the New Year by a 32", 42" and possibly a 60" unit.

So what is so special about LED/LCD?  It is all in the back-light; the technology that illuminates the screen. Up to now we have used mini florescent tubes or CCFLs but the LED backlight uses much less power to light the screen and gives a  brighter display with better contrast levels. The main benefit however is a much thinner panel. The 46" and 55" televisions are 3.7cm and 4.7cm deep respectively.

The new televisions are certainly thin, but that's not the only attractive feature. These screens are of course rated at 1080p - Full HD and have a refresh rate of 100Hz but they also have a Personal Video recorder (PVR) feature with full schedule for program/date/time, plus a “time slip” feature, and use an external USB memory to store recordings. The range also features a special "Hotel Mode" which limits the volume and channel selection, making them perfect for installation into hotel rooms, schools or for Corporate applications.

The Digital signage "D-Brain" range now includes the giant 82"
 

 

  
The Hantarex D-Brain line is a monitor especially designed for public information systems in Airports, railways, bus stations, subways and shopping malls. It is available in four different sizes including the impressive 82" display that has just been announced.

The D-Brain offers the best display quality due to a direct LVDS digital connection from the integrated computer to the LCD Panel. It has no external video connection but is  accessible from a central server using the SNMP protocol over the LAN connection.

The monitor is designed to be easily maintained and this is achieved because all technology (digital board, power supplies, controller and PC) are mounted into extractable racks fitted with fast snap-in connectors. This means that if there is a failure, the display can be fixed and fully operational in seconds without the need for de-installation; thus ensuring total satisfaction for the advertiser.

The Quadro Range of Touch Screen Monitors
 

 

  

We are pleased to announce the availability of the touch screen version of the Quadro range of professional display monitors. These are available in 5 different screen sizes from 32" up to the impressive 82" and there are six different touch screen technologies available. You can choose from Surface Wave Acoustic, Capacitive, Optical, Retro-projected, Infrared and Multi-touch with up to 32 touches. As you can see from the picture, it is now possible to manufacture a piano keyboard using the Multitouch screen.

The new Stripes IPTV range is a family of products designed to solve TV distribution problems in hotels, hospitality and corporate centres. Hantarex Stripes 32" IPTV

    

The new 22" LED/LCD digital television is perfect as that extra TV in the bedroom or dining room. It is Full HD - 1080p and having a LED backlight it is super thin at 2cm deep. There are SCART, USB, PC and video connections and with a price that will surprise the 22" would make a lovely Christmas present.
