Our Newsletter this month has been compiled with the intention of packing as much information as possible into the smallest space. The hope is that between Ascot, Wimbledon and the World Cup you will have a few moments to look at our latest news and get in touch.

In this Newsletter we cover a number of new professional products plus an addition to the Stripes Digital TV range. We also discuss the possibility of new developments including IPTV. The new D-Brain Multimedia monitor for FIDS and PIDS applications
 

 

The Hantarex D-Brain is a family of monitors specially designed for public information systems such as Airports FIDS and PIDS and railway or bus station information panels. They are designed to operate in landscape or portrait mode and include a full diagnostic system.

The special feature of this display is that it has an integrated PC which directly drives the LCD screen via the digital LVDS video interface. Control is through an embedded SNMP agent. This combination of direct connect video and LAN control ensures high quality visualization and the highest level of brightness and contrast.

All models include an integrated Intel 2.53GHz PC with up to 2GB DDR2 or DDR3 RAM, Non-volatile Solid State HD memory.

The D-Brain is currently available in sizes 32", 42", 46" and 82" with the planned introduction of other sizes later in the year.

Introducing the New Stripes Range with Mirror Glass and Black Frame
 

  In our March Newsletter we announced that the Stripes Range of Digital Televisions are now available in three different styles. Well now there are four styles to choose from and four sizes. The styles are Black Screen with Black Frame, Black Screen with a Champagne frame (silver with a very small part gold), Mirror Screen with a Champagne Frame and now Mirror screen with a Black Frame.

All of the range now includes the latest image processing electronics; extra features such as memory card/USB inputs; a side mounted earphone jack; a side mounted third HDMI input and a S/PDIF digital audio output. All televisions are fully addressable via the RS232 protocol and they all have a “Hotel” mode to control channel selection and volume.

The New Airtank IP66 Outdoor Monitor
 

 

The Airtank is built to survive the toughest of outdoor applications. All products in the range are Hermetic IP66 sealed monitors for public outdoor information or any location where resistance to vandalism is critical. They are designed to operate in Portrait or Landscape mode.

The sophisticated anodized, aluminium cabinet fully protects the display and electronics from problems generated by dust, water, humidity and also from attack by vandals. This makes it ideal for railway stations, bus terminals, tramway terminals, underground or metro stations or any generic display located under critical weather conditions. IP66 compliance requires the monitors to use passive cooling without external airflow exchange.

All models include an integrated Intel PC with up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, Non-volatile DOM 4-8GB memory or Solid State HD up to 16GB.

The Airtank IP66 is currently available in two sizes of 32" and 46" with the planned introduction of a 42" version later in the year. There are two versions of the 46", a standard brightness unit and a high bright 1500cd/m² version.
