The Four Stripes range of Italian designed, Full HD LCD
digital televisions has now undergone redevelopment to
introduce a new LED/LCD version; the new
SLIM LCD range and
many extra features including a 100 Hz refresh rate.
This is the first of a new series of LCD televisions developed with
the use of an LED backlight instead of the conventional mini
florescent tubes or CCFLs employed in most LCD
displays today. The LED backlight uses much less power to
light the screen and gives a brighter
display with better contrast levels. The main benefit
however is a much thinner panel. The 46" and 55" televisions
are 3.7cm and 4.7cm deep respectively.
The Four Stripes range has a uniqueness that is fabricated
with Italian taste and style and combines light, shiny,
silver or black aluminium profiles for the four sided frame,
enriched by beautiful tempered Black or Mirror finished
front glass. This new range currently includes 46" and 55"
screen sizes and this will be followed by a 32", 42" and a 60" in
the New Year.
The Four Stripes televisions are highly flexible multimedia
displays with various connections that include component
video, dual mini SCART (with adaptor), 15 pin HD "D" (PC)
and triple HDMI inputs. They now include integrated 10W
speakers with connections for 7W external speakers, a DVB-T
Digital tuner and an integrated media centre to read from
USB keys or from SD memory cards.
All televisions support H264 decoding
for high definition channels. All now include a Personal
Video Recorder (PVR) with full schedule for
program/date/time plus a “time slip” feature, and use the
external USB memory to store recordings. The range also
features a special "Hotel Mode" which limits the volume and
channel selections making them perfect for installation into
hotel rooms, schools or for Corporate applications. All are
equipped with a full function advanced remote control but in
addition are addressable via the RS232 interface making them accessible by room controllers such as AMX or
Extron.
This range can be supplied with a special stand for desk,
floor, wall or ceiling mounting and would enhance any room
large or small in corporate suites, hotels, home cinema and
of course private homes.
