The Hantarex D-Brain is a family
of monitors specially designed for public information
systems such as Airports FIDS and GIDS and railway or bus
station information panels. They are designed to operate in
landscape or portrait mode and include a diagnostic system
that handles:

Status of monitor (on/off)
•
Temperature control
•
Fan control
•
Backlight control
•
Voltages control
•
Automatic management of dimming
based on ambient light
The special feature of this display is that it has an
integrated PC which directly drives the LCD screen via the
digital LVDS video interface. Control is through an embedded
SNMP agent. This combination of direct connect video and LAN
control ensures high quality visualization the highest
level of brightness and contrast.
All models
include an integrated Intel 2.53GHz PC with up to 2GB DDR2
or DDR3 RAM,
Non-volatile Solid State HD up to 16GB (default),
Intel GMA 950 graphics output (internal connection),
dual GigaEthernet 10/100/1000, 4 USB connections and VGA and
DVI outputs. The monitors can be controlled through the SNMP
agent via the LAN or by the optional wireless keyboard/trackerball.
The
D-Brain is currently available in sizes 32", 42", 46"
and 82" with the planned introduction of other sizes later
in the year.
