The Hantarex Airtank is built to survive the toughest of outdoor applications. All products in the range are Hermetic IP66 sealed monitors for public outdoor information or any location where resistance to vandalism is critical.

The sophisticated anodized, aluminium cabinet fully protects the display and electronics from problems generated by dust, water, humidity and also from attack by vandals. This makes it ideal for railway stations, bus terminals, tramway terminals, underground or metro stations or any generic display located under critical weather conditions.

IP66 compliance requires the monitors to use passive cooling with any external airflow exchange. Internal air is therefore clean and doesn't generate dust or water problems. This leads to advantages in terms of reliability, safety and device durability. The monitor has a special "compass" opening to provide easy access to the internal components for inspection. All components are of industrial standard and designed for 24/7 operation.

All models of the Airtank include an integrated Intel PC with up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, Non-volatile DOM 4-8GB memory or Solid State HD up to 16GB, Intel GMA - resolution up to 1920 x 1080 (internal connection) and a GigaEthernet 10/100/1000. The display is designed to operate as a video display, probably connected to a video server. The only connections are the LAN and the RS232 interface used for diagnostic purposes. A WiFi interface is optional.

The Airtank IP66 is currently available in two sizes of 32" and 46" with the planned introduction of a 42" version later in the year. There are two versions of the 46", a standard brightness unit and a high bright 1500cd/mē version.
